Edenton Armchair Tour Acknowledgements

The efforts of many people have gone into the production of this virtual tour of the town of Edenton. Special thanks are due to Thomas R. Butchko, whose book "Edenton: An Architectural Portrait" provided many of the names, histories and construction dates of the featured houses. If you are at all interested in the architecture and history of Edenton, this meticulously-researched book, published by the Edenton Women's Club, is absolutely indispensible.

Thanks to the folks at the courthouse and town hall who helped with maps and historical preservation information.

Also, thanks go out to all those Edentonians who provided help and support, and answered endless questions about their homes and their histories. It is you great folks who make Edenton such a wonderful place to be.
