Edenton Town Hall (2nd Bank of Edenton)
The Second Bank of
Edenton was built in 1911 after the 106 East King Street site became too
small. The lot was purchased from Tillie Bond in 1910 and construction
of the Neo-Classical Revival style building began the next year. After
they vacated the building, it was occupied by the United States Post Office
until 1931 when the construction of their new office was complete. In
1986 the building was donated to the Town of Edenton and became the Town
Hall.
