The John C Bond House, circa 1893

     This Victorian house was built in 1893 for John Cox Bond.  Like many other Edenton dwellings, during World War II the house was converted into apartments.  After John Bond's death, the house was sold to Gilbert Dail in 1944.  Dail's widow sold the house in 1986.
