The Leigh-Bush House, circa 1759

     This Victorian style house as built in 1759, by Gilbert Leigh, and in 1771, Leigh sold the house .  By 1804, it was under the ownership of Joseph and Ann Bozman.  When Ann moved to Alabama, in 1845, she sold the house to Richard Jones.  In 1878, it was purchased by Elizabeth Bush.  In 1947, it was sold by the Bush heirs. and in 1952, it was purchased by George Gelbach who stayed until his death.
