The Doors are open to the Dependencies so you can tour on your own and learn more about the people that were instrumental in Edenton's development and what they used to make it happen.  A permanent exhibit to be shared with all ages and tells the story of historic importance.

In celebration of the 245th Anniversary, The Elizabeth Vann Moore Lecture "Frances Drane Inglis:  Local Historian, Preservationist, Civil Rights Advocate" presented by Attorney Samuel B. Dixon, J.D. and "Elizabeth Matheson:  Distinguished North Carolina Photographer" presented by Charlotte V. Wainwright, Retired Founding Director, Gregg Museum of Art and Design, North Carolina State University will be honored by the Edenton Historical Commission.
