This year’s Heritage Farm Fest was a treat for everyone, whether you grew up on a farm or had just wondered what it was like to grow up on one. The day kicked off with a parade of antique tractors and horse drawn wagons. Then everybody was able to step back in time and wander through the Heritage Village that was set up on the front field at Johnny Holmes High School on Saturday June 6, 2015. Skilled artisans performed the trades of a bygone era — blacksmithing, shingle making, even notorious moonshiners! There were heritage foods — many made by our Farmers Market Vendors. Mighty draft horses, antique tractors and cars were on display. It was plain ol’ family fun!
