Scenes for the Movie “Union Bound” Filmed in Edenton

Scenes for the movie Union Bound were filmed in Edenton, NC, on June 2, 2014. Raleigh production company Uptone Pictures is producing the film, which is based on the diary of Joseph Hoover, a Union soldier who was imprisoned by the Confederates and then escaped with the help of slaves, and made his way back to his unit. The movie stars Sean Stone, as Joseph Hoover, and Randy Wayne, playing Tom Ryan.
